I was listening to You Look Nice Today recently when they discussed the following:
"I've had an issue lately with, you know, those fantasy type things ... where I have no less libido than I had 5 years ago but my fantasies have gotten ... out of hand. I mean that I now have to do so much in my fantasies with this other person before we can have sex. Like I can't just have sex with this other person now. We have to, you know, go shopping or something first, like in rigorous, painful detail ... or else it just seems rude."
Does anyone else find that this has also happened to them? What the hell does it signify?

I'm not sure how to feel about this. On the one hand they pointlessly ended the lives of 202 people (88 of them Australian) but on the other hand I just can't bring myself to support the death penalty in any form. I can certainly understand that some of the people who lost loved ones in the attacks would gain a measure of comfort from their deaths however.
In this case the bombers will certainly end up being martyrs. Their continuous pontificating to the media on the "evils of the west" has assured that and their deaths will only perpetuate greater hatred. Already we're being given travel warnings to steer clear of Indonesia.
Make them rot in jail, working at least in some small part, to repair the damage they did. Let them make bricks for hospitals for the next 50 years.
